Una - Healing & Repairing Face Cream

The Úna face cream is a universal cream for dry to very dry, flaky, sensitive and atopic skin types of both adults and children.

It has gentle emollients, ceramide precursors that repair the skin’s barrier function, beta glucan and panthenol to soothe inflammation (redness and itchiness) and canola oil which contains balancing omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.

These ingredients help the skin barrier repair, heal and reach its natural defensive function.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Sphingolipids and phospholipids generate crucial, biologically active ceramides, sphingosine (which regulates the skin’s microbiome, often compromised in case of atopic dermatitis) and signalling pathways that participate in cell communication. 

Carboxymethyl beta-glucan (CM beta glucan). This is a polysaccharide that has multiple functions when applied to the skin:

• it regenerates cells in charge of collagen production,
• it promotes protective functioning of skin cells,
• it acts as an antioxidant and has been proven to repair cellular damage created by UVA radiation,
• in challenge tests involving detergent, it exhibits significant protection of the skin barrier,
• it stimulates healing 

Use twice a day, or as needed, on cleansed skin to prevent moisture loss and replenish essential lipids to protect the skin barrier.
