SOS SPF 50 Sun Cream

The SOS SPF 50 Cream contains mineral based filters and uses an ultra-sheer form of Zinc Oxide that protects the skin from UVA/UVB and blue light (HEV), plus contains the antioxidant Vitamin E which is a natural anti-inflammatory that has soothing and calming effects on the skin. Soy Bean Stem Cell helps in the reduction of wrinkle formation and increase skin’s firmness, combined with Vitamin E to fight free radical damage on the skin.

Ethylhexyl Salicylate – UVB filter; boosts SPF and helps dissolve other filters.

Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid (Ensulizole) – a water-soluble UVB filter with a lightweight feel; efficiently absorbs shortwave UVB.

Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) – longwave UVA1 filter that protects against photoaging and pigmentation.

Isoamyl p-Methoxycinnamate – UVB filter (also called Amiloxate), photostable, adds extra UVB protection.

Mineral (physical) filters:

Titanium Dioxide – broad-spectrum UVB + UVA2 protection; works by reflecting and scattering UV light.

Zinc Oxide – broad-spectrum UVB + UVA1 + UVA2 protection; especially strong in UVA coverage.
