Sunscreen SPF50

This sunscreen is great for dry and mature skin types as it has a creamy texture. It is also a great product during winter as it gives the skin an extra layer of moisture during the drier months.

It does not leave a white cast but we recommend that you apply thin layers to the skin a couple of times rather than a large amount at once.

Can be used as/instead of your daily moisturiser!

Apply sunscreen before sun exposure. Reapply throughout the day if needed, especially after towelling, perspiring or swimming to maintain optimal protection.

Panthenol (Provitamin B5) – soothes and hydrates skin.

Sphingolipids and phospholipids: generate crucial, biologically active ceramides, sphingosine (which regulates the skin’s microbiome, often compromised in case of atopic dermatitis) and signalling pathways that participate in cell communication.

Carboxymethyl beta-glucan (CM beta glucan): this is a polysaccharide that has multiple functions when applied to the skin:

it regenerates cells in charge of collagen production,
it promotes protective functioning of skin cells,
it acts as an antioxidant and has been proven to repair cellular damage created by UVA radiation,
in challenge tests involving detergent, it exhibits significant protection of the skin barrier,
it stimulates healing

Chemical (organic) filters:

Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) – longwave UVA1 protection.

Ethylhexyl Salicylate – UVB filter and solvent for other filters.

Octocrylene – UVB filter and photostabilizer for Avobenzone.

Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (Tinosorb S) – broad-spectrum UVA + UVB, highly photostable; stabilizes Avobenzone.

Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid (Ensulizole) – water-soluble UVB filter with a light feel.

Ethylhexyl Triazone (Uvinul T 150) – extremely efficient UVB filter.

Mineral (physical) filters:

Titanium Dioxide (Nano) – protects against UVB and UVA2; nano form reduces white cast.

Titanium Dioxide (non-nano) – may provide opacity and boost UVA/UVB coverage.
